Service Description

The experience of creating a unique and bespoke fragrance is both an exciting and very personal one. The consultation to create your fragrance formula can take anywhere from 60 minutes to a couple of hours and depends on several factors. The tweaking and final sample-checking process can then take several weeks. You can choose to purchase any candles, room mist, diffusers and favours using your unique formula at a later date. Firstly we’ll send you a questionnaire to get an initial feel of your likes, aspirations and hopes for the fragrance. Following this we’ll have a full consultation where we’ll explain the process of building a formula, the ‘fragrance wheel’ and discuss the various botanical and man-made fragrance aromas (over 200) that we use. If you’re local to our Cheshire HQ we can do this at our place (where you can really explore all of the ingredients in person) or we can bring a selection to your home, based on your initial questionnaire responses. If you're not local or prefer to keep the consultation distanced then it will be over an online video call. Using the traditional French method of perfumery we will then create a sample version of your scent for you to approve – this will either be created in person during the consultation or sent to you in the post. If your consultation has been virtual, we will send a selection of samples for you to give feedback on. Using your feedback and our own expertise, we’ll make any tweaks and changes to the formula until you have a wonderful wedding fragrance that’s 100% unique, personal and the perfect sensory addition to your wedding day. This formula will be kept in our private archives and be available for your exclusive use only – be it for adding olfactory memories to the wedding day itself or to order as anniversary, Valentine’s or celebratory gifts in the future.
